Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Oncology Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Special Requests: RTO: If you have more than 5 days of requested time off, time will be added at the end of the contract to ensure a full 13 weeks.

Shift & Scheduling: Every Other Weekend, Holidays As Needed

Required Credentials: ONS/ONCC Advanced Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate

Required Skills/Experience: Must Be Competent In Telemetry

Floating Requirements: To other med/surg units if needed

Unit Details: 7 South is a 32-bed oncology telemetry unit that specializes in the care of patients 18 years and older with medical oncology needs. They specialize in providing care to patient with palliative care and end of life care needs, and the administration of chemotherapy. Daily Census 32

Could care for COVID patients.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Oncology, Med-surg, Hospice, Chemo ports

Travel pair policy: Pairs are okay, but the client cannot guarantee matched schedules.
