Required Skills and Experience: 3+ years of inpatient practice experience (critical care or acute care experience is required). Will you accept a first-time traveler if experienced. Must be a strong pharmacist, comfortable working independently, triaging, team player; will work closely with pharm techs. Baseline pharmacology knowledge, able to do clinical calculations, order verification, product checking, new medications, answer phone calls, lots of questions from medical residents to answer, Vanc dosing, ECMO, anticoagulation. Will dispense critical care drips that are ordered (can teach NICU if needed).
Preferred Skills and Experience: PGY one plus or minus PGY two preferred. NICU experience preferred. Cerner, Omnicell, and Sentri 7 experience highly preferred.
Required Credentials: Controlled Substance License Required. Photo ID.
Preferred Credentials: Pharm-D and Board Certification preferred.
Shift & Scheduling Requirements: Weekend rotation: every other. Rotating holiday calendar.
