Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Experience Requirements: 2+yrs ICU Tele will have to pass an EKG Test, More of a Step down unit; Cardiac/Stroke/Tele; Home Unit ACU

Detail: cardio hospital - elderly population. Lots of critical care and medically challenged patients.

Details: Skokie's ACU (Advanced Care Unit) is ICU. It's more advanced than Med Surg but not as advanced as a true ICU. Complex spine patients after surgery, more procedural and ortho campus - turn and burn surgical campus, Lift equipment in all rooms, IABP, temp control devices, fluid warmers, TPA, vein finder

REQUIRED: Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, pulmonary artery line/swan ganz monitoring, IV insulin protocols, IV therapy (accessing ports, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs), Medications (continuous IV paralytics/neuromuscular blockade, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, procedural sedation administration, titrate cardiac drips), lumbar drains, post neurosurgery management, spinal cord in
