Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

22 months of Infusion Center experience is required.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

All RNs (all specialties) must have NIHSS & EHAC within last 12 months. Certs can be obtained during onboarding.

If candidate resides in one of the restricted counties, they are not eligible for assignment. Restricted Counties-Delta, Franklin, Red River, Hopkins, Bowie, Morris, Titus, Cass, Camp, Rains, Upshur, Marion, Van Zandt, Smith, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, and Panola.

Floating Requirements: Float Required to units of equal or lesser acuity

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Patient Diagnosis: All cancer diagnosis as well as hematology malignant and non-malignant. Special Procedures: Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy administration

Required Skills/Experience: Skills: Infusion center, outpatient oncology, active immunotherapy specific/non-specific, recognize/manage side effects. Care of patients with bladder/kidney, brain, breast, colorectal, ENT, Leukemia, liver, lung, melanomoa, multiple myeloma, lymphoma, ovarian, pancreatic, and prostate cancer.
