Travel Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Unit

Nicotine free campus. Must test negative.

No Self Scheduling.

Shift & Schedule: Monday - Sunday

Scheduling by manager or scheduler; no self scheduling.

No on call requirements.

Every other weekend is required.

Holidays required, as needed.

Floating is required to other pediatric units

Required Skill / Experience: Must have 2 years of clinical experience in specialty

Preferred Skill / Experience: BMT Transplant experience

Orientation: RNs should expect 2-3 days of orientation and specialty testing for the facility.

Patient Population: Fever, neutropenia, chemotherapy admission, solid tumor, sarcoma, leukemia, chronic pain crisis, new diagnoses, palliative

Age range of patient population is 0-21 years

Procedures / Diagnostics / Treatments Performed on Unit: IV Meds: Blood transfusion, Antibiotics, Stem Cell, IV fluids

Types of Pediatric Surgery: resections, ports, etc
