Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Pediatric Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Additional Details:

10 HR Variable M-F with call 2300-0700 weekdays and 24 hours weekends.

Required: Ability to float to other UCSF Facilities.

Preferred: CPAN PACU and ICU exp preferred.

Interdisciplinary Support: Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary Patient Diagnoses: Sleep Disordered Breathing Appendicitis Foreign Body Ingestion Leukemia Hypospadias Fractures Neuro issues Cardiac Cath Cholecystectomy Dental Audiology Special Procedures/Unit Details: LP with Chemo Bone Marrow Aspirate Tonsillectomy/Adenoidectomy Oral Rehabilitation Myringotomy Closed and Open Fracture Reductions Palate Repair Appendectomy Cholecystectomy Gastrostomy feeding tube placement

Special Equipment: Spinal Epidurals Arterial lines Patient controlled analgesia Cardiac Monitors

Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred.
