Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 12 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.
3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Michigan license

Required Skills/Experience: Skills: IV therapy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Respiratory/Thoracic, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Carbon monoxide poisoning, Care of Ventilated Patient, Fresh tracheostomy, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Pulmonary edema, Pulmonary embolism, Respiratory failure, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Medical Intensive Care Unit, Cardiovascular, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Genitourinary/Renal, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Medications, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Neurological, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Professional Topics and Skills, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Endocrine/Metabolic, IV insulin protocols.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience, Community Hospital Experience. Skills: Burn Intensive Care Unit, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Trauma Intensive Care Unit, Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP), Sheath Removal, Valve Replacement/Repair, CVVHD/CRRT, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun.

Required Credentials: Medication/Pharmacology Exams - All RN positions with 80% pass rate. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID.

Shift & Scheduling: Every Other Weekend. Is on-call req: No.
