Requirements

Experience

36 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience is required from last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ONS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Surgical Oncology experience preferred. Need to be proficient in end-of-life care as well.

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours only

• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend. Friday/Saturday Nights. Saturday/Sunday Days

• Float Requirements: To other floors as census fluctuates

• Additional Notes: Preferred able to train to Charge and precept if needed.

• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Adult oncology/medical/surgical

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Chemo certified

• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Charge capable, Preceptor capable once trained
