Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 36 months of Emergency Department experience.
Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months
3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:
An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Adult ED Nurse Experience: Must have at least 3 years of experience in a Level 1 trauma center ED
- Required Skillset: Emergency/Trauma/Critical Care
Required Credentials: Associate's Degree or Certificate
Preferred Credentials: Bachelor's Degree
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekends/Holidays: Up to every other weekend
- On Call/Call Back Requirements: On call of 1-2 shifts per 6 week schedule
Floating Requirements: Flexible to float to other WakeMed ED's as needed
