Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience within the past 12 months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Weekend Hours: yes, self scheduling but 5-6. Call Requirements: no scheduled call, however, we flexdown as needed based off acuity and census; rotation log for who is placed on call.

Floating Requirements: Floating not required but if it is your turn to be placed on call/flexed down, in order to get guaranteed hours you can float.

Unit Details: • Number of Beds: 16.

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: neonate, peds and adult.
