Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience.

Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: 50% holidays and every other weekend 50% of weekends on contract required

Floating Requirements: Float: Yes Between ED and ED Obs

Unit Details: We are a Level 1 trauma, Stroke, and Stemi ED. We have a peds ED inside the UH ED.

Required Skills/Experience: Will accept 1st time travelers if they have level I trauma experience

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience

Types of Patients on Unit:

Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics

Previous Employment Requirements: Return Travelers: If a traveler takes a break after an assignment and returns within 18 months, re- orientation is not required.
