Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Respiratory Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Scheduling: Expected to work every other weekend, every other holiday where applicable.

Block booking and Schedule patterns are based on department needs.

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation

Required:

Successfully completed a respiratory therapist program from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by the prescribing physician that is appropriate to all the ages of the patients served with an advanced knowledge base in the adult population

Patient Population: Pediatric, Adolescent, and Adult Patients

A graduate therapist must successfully pass both the NBRC TMC and CSE exams.
