Travel Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Unit

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

Previous Employment Requirements: Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler. All Standard Travelers (reside outside of a 75 mile radius) can stay for an 18 month period. Must take a 3 month break after 18 months.

Required Skills/Experience: Special Requirements: tele / reading rhythms, cardiac medications and drips- no titration. Preferred Skills/Experience: Skills: Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)* Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management* Epidural analgesia* Pacemakers/Temporary/Permanent* Substance Withdrawal*. TAVR, LAA's Telemetry, Cardiac patients, Pre & Post CTS care, chest tubes, Post PCI.

Required Credentials: Cert: NIH - NIH only accepted through AHA, Apex, or NIHSS websites.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: External Pacemaker Monitor Chestube.

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults.

Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: None. Number of Beds: 28.

Special Requests: Open to accommodating block schedule: No. RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. No RTO the first week of an assignment.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend req: 6 weekend shifts in 6 week period. Is on-call req: No.
