Must have pediatric and infant experience and be willing to be trained for NICU. Teaching Hospital Experience. Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, Pediatrics, Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI), Albuterol, Atrovent, Bicarbonate, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled Flolan, Inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Mucomyst, Perforomist, Pulmicort, Terbutaline Sulfate, Theophylline, Tobramycin, Xopenex, Bubble CPAP, IMV/SIMV, Intubation Assist, Pressure/Volume Ventilator, Fresh tracheostomy, Pulmonary Function Experience, Arterial punctures, Bag and mask, ET Tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Trach collar, Chest Physiotherapy, Drawing arterial blood gases, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), BiPAP, CPAP, Flow-by, IMV (intermittent Mandatory Ventilation), Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Cold, Hand held, Heated, T-piece, Trach collar, Extubation, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oral/nasal Suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy care/management, and Draeger Vent Experience.

Willing to train for NICU.

Preferred Skills/Experience: NICU, Pediatric Critical Care, Medihaler, Apnea Monitor, Assist in high risk delivery, Bivent, Capillary blood gases, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP, Direct Intubation (Neonatal), Direct Intubation (Peds), ECMO, High frequency jet ventilator, Neonatal transports (inter-departmental), Oscillating Ventilator, ARDS, Aspiration, Bronchoscopy, COVID, Cystic fibrosis, Pneumonia, Spirometry, Hyperbaric, Basic EKG, High frequency jet ventilator, High frequency oscillator, Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, Near drowning, Respiratory distress syndrome, Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), Transient Tachypnea of the newborn, Ultrasonic, Direct Intubation, and Avea Vent Experience.

Unit/Facility Details: Expected to cover assignments at either Bridgeport or Milford RT campuses o ICU care—Inclusive of Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Burn ICU, Progressive Care Unit, Newborn ICU, Pediatrics. o Emergency Room Coverage. o Med-Surge floor assignments. o Rapid Respond Coverage. o Charge assignment.

Special Requests: o No Block Schedule or self-scheduling.
o Pre-approved RTO prior to the start of contract will be honored. Amendment to RTO after the start of contract may or may not be granted.

Shift & Scheduling: • Schedule Expectations: o RT Leadership reserve all rights to scheduling matrix and model to meet operational obligations. o Staff RT reserve first priority to schedule matrix. o Every other weekend assignment is required. o Flexibility is expected to rotate opposite shift if required. o Holiday coverage expected based on operational needs. o Contract will be extended due to unforeseen circumstances that contracted party is out due to illness/urgent-emergent absences

Floating Requirements: Float to Milford Campus.
