Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Neurologic Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

ACLS (Preferred)

CCRN (Preferred)

TNCC (Preferred)

Additional Details:

Neuro Critical Care Unit - Required

Orientation Dates: 7/14; 7/28

36 or 48 hours; No Guaranteed Hours

Weekends: 3 of 6 weekends

Call: 2-on call per 6-week schedule

Holidays As needed

Float as needed to area of like skill set/ ICU/IMC

Patients suffering from severe brain injuries, stroke or brain tumors and many are post-op from a neurosurgical procedure

Providers specialize in post-operative neurosurgical care to neurologically complex patients such as those with stroke, brain tumors, and nerve and muscle diseases.
