Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

12 months of PCU Float Pool experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Staffing will always be assessed per shift and nurses will be placed where needed between these two acuity levels throughout the hospital.

Nurses may spend up to 3/4 (or more) of time staffed in MS/Tele and 1/4 of time in PCU.

Vent experience preferred but not required.

All listed ratios are subject to change based on staffing availability at the facility. Ratios are never guaranteed but are what the unit(s) typically attempt to achieve with normalized staffing.

6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred)
