Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Operating Room experience is required from last 12 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Michigan license

Additional Details:

Can submit with a block scheduling request - The facility will always try and honor, but never guarantee.

Guaranteed Hours per Week: 36

Shift Requirements: 8 hour shifts.- flexible scheduling needed. plus 1 or 2 call days per week and every 3 - 4 weekends.

On Call/Call-Back: 1-2x per week from end of shift to 0700 the next day.

Weekend/Holiday: occasional weekend call – Friday, Saturday and Sun through 0700 on Monday. No holiday shifts, but holiday call is required.

Required Education: ADN or BSN

Strong circulating experience.

PACU experience preferred. Pre/post- op required

Required skills: ortho and general cases on call. Ortho- Total knee, knee arthroscopy, open rotator cuff repair, carpal tunnel release and tendon repair, occasional ORIFs; General- lap appy, lap chole, lap hernia, lap hiatal hernia repair, specialty foregut procedures (Bravo, Stretta, Barrx, EndoFLIP, EsoFLIP, TIF), EGD/ Colonoscopy, Lesion removals, lumpectomy, hemorrhoidectomy; podiatry- bunionectomy, hammer toe corrections.
