Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Geriatrics, rehabilitation patients

Weekend Requirements: Yes as needed

Holiday Requirements: Yes as needed

Number of shifts of unit/department specific orientation: First week will be classroom orientation and then 2- 12 hour shifts on the floor

RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
