Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

9 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required from the last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Required)

Additional Details:

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

Charge experience highly preferred, willing to train RN'S with +5 years experience.

Float Policy: Float to Antepartum

Facility requires ACLS

Patient Experience requirements: high quality care.

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: Must be able to circulate cesarean deliveries.

Procedures performed on unit:

Vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Magnesium sulfate D&C and Cerclage
