Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Cardiac Transitional Care Unit experience within the past 3 years.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license

ACLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Step Down Cardiac Unit

No block scheduling allowed.

Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Required Skills/Experience: Experience w/ chest tubes, CPap/BiPap, blood/blood products admin, cardioversion/defibrillation.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Vents/Sheaths/Pacers/drips

Types of Patients on Unit: Patients include cardiac and vascular post-procedural patients, NSTEMI, Congestive Heart Failure, treatment of dysrhythmias, and 24-48 hrs post-op open heart patients, post cardiac cath, stents

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend
