Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Must have at least 3.2 overall rating on skills checklist

Patient Population: Diverse all ages

Must Have Skills/Experience: Must be comfortable supporting patients and surgeons with/for significant traumatic injuries- with an ability to anticipate what (in the way of instruments, supplies, and equipment). Highly skilled - everything from basic and quick lap procedures to open, complicated abdominal and/or chest cavity trauma cases.
