Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

12 months of Oncology Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license

Chemo Administration required - Travelers will be required to Administer Chemo to up to 7 patients at once.

Applicant must have a Biotherapy Card.

Avg daily census: 38-42

No call/float requirements

Weekend req: None

Certs required: ONS/ONCC

Must have CITI training

Previous charge experience preferred

Scrubs: Navy blue

Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred

Community Hospital Experience: Preferred

Orientation Hours: 16

Patient Age Groups: Adults

Patient Diagnoses: Multiple Cancer Diagnosis

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Chemotherapy

Any Permanent Employee at any LCMC facility must be gone for at least 1 year to be considered for travel.
