Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 36 months of Oncology Unit experience with 6 months within the past 6 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ONS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: These RNs need to be chemo experienced ,able to cover charge and precept

Need to be proficient in end-of-life care as well.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Surgical Oncology experience preferred

Chemo certified, Charge capable, Preceptor capable once trained

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Cancer

Types of Patients on Unit: Adult oncology/medical/surgical

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds: 29

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Friday/Saturday Nights. Saturday/Sunday Days
