Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience.

Experience with Epic is required from last 3 years.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: -Mon - Fri, Call - up to 1 overnight/week and 3 weekends per 13 week contract -Weekend Requirements: call schedule; Fri 5p through Mon 6:30a -On Call Requirements: up to 1 overnight/week and 3 weekends per 13 week contract

Special Requests: Limit of 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.

Types of Patients on Unit: : primarily cardiac

Required Skills/Experience: -Scrub and Circulating experience -At a minimum - must be proficiently experienced in the following cases: Gen, Robotics, Pediatrics and Trauma (additional experience in following service lines -- (Neuro, ortho (primarily trauma), gyn, uro, transplants, plastics, ENT, Vascular) -Level I experience
