Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Must be available to start within six weeks of the date of submission.

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

Fri-Sat-Sun

Shift: varied based on need, 8’s, 10’s or 12’s

Call Requirements: Yes

Weekends: possibly, based on need

Must have: General surgery, orthopedic and neuro surgery experience both RN and Tech, Basic general OR knowledge of more than one year, If candidate is for CVOR they MUST have at least two years of CVOR experience, to include: ALL ADULT open heart cases, OPEN and ENDOVASCULAR cases. This includes open and endovascular Triple A surgery, and must be willing to work with the Cath lab on cases such as TAVR (trans aortic valve replacement). This includes RN and Tech.

Preferred: Trauma experience both RN and Tech, Vascular surgery exp, RN and Tech. Cases such as fistula creations, and endarterectomy surgery

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): X-lif, A-lif, Decompression, ACDF, Craniotomy, Robotic surgery (thoracic, general, gyn and urology), Ortho Trauma, total joints (Mako Robot), general open and laparoscopic surgery. CV- CABG, valves, surgies of the Aorta (to include traumas), TAVR, TCAR, TEVAR, EVAR, and open vascular cases.
