Call: up to 36 hours of call in a 6 week period (may not be the full 36 hours)
Will be required to float between Mother Baby and Labor & Delivery
Must be able to circulate a c-section
5 years experience preferred (must have at least 3 years)
Will need to pass EFM competency exam
No Dysrhythmia exam
Unit Specific Details:
L&D Unit
7-bed LDR with a 3-bed triage and 2 ORs that only do c-sections (No tubals or GYN surgeries). need to be able to circulate a c-section.
Charting - Epic and Centricity Perinatal
No heparin drips or insulin drips.
Midwife, anesthesia provider, and either NNP or neonatologist in house 24/7. OB physicians are on call as needed.
Deliver about a hundred babies a month and our patient population can include laboring patients 28 weeks and over, patients on magnesium or Pitocin, and TOLACs.

Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification - National Certification Corporation (preferred if interpreting fetal monitoring)
Inpatient OB Certification - National Certification Corporation (preferred)
Maternal Newborn Nursing Certification - National Certification Corporation (preferred)
Neonatal Intensive Care Certification - National Certification Corporation (required for critical care transport NICU teams within 2 years of hire)
Low Risk Neonatal Nursing Certification - National Certification Corporation (preferred)
Care of the Extremely Low Birth Weight Neonate Certification - National Certification Corporation (preferred)
Recent OB, ED or critical care experience (preferred)
Training EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) (preferred)
