Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

License

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

NIHSS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Teaching Hospital Experience - Preferred

Trauma Level II Experience - Preferred

Weekend: Every other weekend required

Float: Float to all care areas to care for MS patients

RTO must be submitted with application. Additional requests after confirmation at manager discretion.

Comprehensive overflow unit staffed by our in-house hospitalist team.

We take patients from all disciplines.

Dress Code: Scrubs - Navy Blue

Parking: Onsite garage, no fee

Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request

Orientation: 12 Hours

Patient Population: Adults, Geriatrics

Daily Census: 16

Special Procedures: This is a geriatric and GIP Hospice unit. Age friendly care given as well as supporting our patients that are requiring inpatient hospice.

All clinicians (allied/CNAs/RNs, etc.) cannot work past 1 year as a traveler. A 6 month break must be taken in order to return as a traveler
