Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 36 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience.

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: At least 3 years’ experience LEVEL 2 /3 PCICU (open heart PICU) skills experience 2-3 years as RN.

Required Credentials: All new RN starts will be required to pass a basic test in their specialty and an EKG test. The EKG test includes mapping and interpreting. Nurses must be able to identify lethal rhythms. Passing score is 80% on each exam. Please note: 100% of lethal rhythms must be identified correctly to pass, regardless of percent scored on the EKG exam. If unable to do so there will be extended remedial training beyond Day Two of orientation. Rhythms should be reviewed in the week before start.

Shift & Scheduling: Possible an off cycle for 3/2 might be an option, Shift Times:12 H Nights 1900-0730 (variable days) Shift Times: 12H Days 0700-1930 (variable days) 36 hours per week. Holidays and weekends required
