Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 36 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience.

Experience with Allscripts/Eclipsys is preferred from any number of months.

Experience with Altera Digital Health a Harris Company is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

PALS (Required)

OCN (Preferred)

Additional Details:

Floating Requirements: Float to NICU required. May also be asked to float to another floor / campus, must be flexible.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required.

Special Requests: Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request.

Types of Patients on Unit: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics.

Required Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Community Hospital Experience.

Certifications: BLS, PALS required. CPHON, NRP, OCN preferred.
