Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend and Call Requirements – Discuss during the interview

Required Skills/Experience: Surgical population especially oncology

Preferred Skills/Experience: CRRT, Hypothermia protocol

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Central line placements, bedside procedure like thoracentesis, dialysis Cath placements, cardioversions, intubations and all other ICU procedures

Equipment Used on Unit: All ICU equipment-ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, GE Cardiac Output monitor
