Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Progressive Care Unit experience.
References
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred

  • Cardiovascular: Sheath Removal. Gastrointestinal: Feeding tube care and management. IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend REQ: 8 weekend shifts in Saint Luke’s 6-week schedule period, combination of F/S/S. -Holiday requirement: based on unit needs

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Work Settings: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown. Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring. Cardiovascular: Pre/Post Cardiac Cath. Sepsis, wound care, ETOH, SI, Renal Failure, AFIB, GIB, Stroke, COVID. -Sepsis, wound care, ETOH, SI, Renal Failure, AFIB, GIB, Stroke, COVID

Special Requirements: Virtual Nurses, 12 lead EKG, AirVo, Voalte
