24 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of Acute Care Float Pool experience is required from last 3 months.

Additional Details:

This need is a float position for Telemetry and Med/Surg Units but travelers may be floated to other areas if there is a staffing need. If floated to ED, Psych, CCU or Childbirth center, they would not take an assignment and would be helping hands (asked to perform tasks like taking vital signs, hang fluids, etc.). Floating to these areas is rare but the possibility is there.

They will not be oriented to those areas and would not be taking any assignment. Interacts with patients within any of the following populations: pre, intra, and post-partum, neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric with a variety of clinical needs and with adults on an interdisciplinary level; must be able to effectively interact appropriately to individual’s intellectual level and physical ability.
