Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Paragon is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Orientation is weekly, on Mondays.

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

• Weekend Hours: every other weekend

• Float Requirements: Rare

• Additional Notes: Team player is a must. Attendance and punctuality when scheduled. Holiday rotation.

• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: No pediatrics

• Required Education: ADN accepted; BSN preferred

Dress Code: Scrub Color: Blue/Black

• Any unacceptable attire: No casual wear.
