RTO must be on the submittal
BJC policy: Every other weekend required.
RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.
No medical marijuana cards accepted.
On Call: No
Return Staff Policy:
- Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler.
- All Standard Travelers (reside outside of a 75-mile radius) can stay for an 18-month period. Must take a 3 month break after 18 months.
Open to accommodating block schedule: No
RTO Restrictions: please, no more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract- If a shift is missed, please work to make up as soon as possible if able
Can have no more than 3 tardies and 2 call ins in a 13-week contract or can result in a cancelation. Will reset for every 13-week contract.

Patient Diagnoses: come from ED, OR or ICU
Services on unit: geriatric trauma: 55 yo + with trauma
Trauma: Abuse/violence victims, MVA, MVC, Falls
Acute Care Surgery: appendicitis, gallbladders, hernia repairs, fistulas, wounds, burns, TBI
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Travelers must have facial hair that allows for proper testing or will be expected to shave. No exceptions
