Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Diploma completion required

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license

Work Experience (Basic): 2 years of acute care RN experience

Education (Required): Diploma or Associate

Required Skills: • IV insertion • Blood draws • PICC/Central Line management: • Dialysis Fistula: • CPAP/BiPAP • Trach Care • Periotoneal dialysis • Epidural/PCA pump • Feeding tubes • Continuous bladder irrigation • Wound vac

Does RN need to know how to read tele strips?: Yes Top diagnosis/procedures: Sepsis, Stroke, CHF, COPD Common equipment used: Bedside Monitors, Bladder Scanner, Vien Finder, Interpreter

Does RN need to be able to titrate medication?: Some Common medications given: Cardizem, Heparin, Amiodrone
