Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience required, IV therapy, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Respiratory/Thoracic, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Genitourinary/Renal, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Medications, Continuous IV sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Neurological, Post Neurosurgery management, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Gastrointestinal, GI surgery, Professional Topics and Skills, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Endocrine/Metabolic, IV insulin protocols, Work Settings, Surgical Intensive Care Unit
