Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

BSN completion preferred

6 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from the last 3 years

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: -Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. -Must have strong critical thinking and assessment skills, detect small changes in patients. MedSurg/Tele RN with strong skills will be trained to assess crani nerves. Utilize self releasing velcro seat belts (not a restraint).

Preferred Skills/Experience: -Certified in Med Surg/Tele preferred.

Required Credentials: must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance, traveler has 2 attempts. if failed, RN will be DNU within CS AZ and Sac Region for 6 months

Special Requests: *Travel Teams must have their own vehicles

Shift & Scheduling: 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, holidays based on units needs

Weekend Requirement: 3 shifts in a 4 week period. Self scheduling.
Holidays: Work into holiday rotation.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
