ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they'll be reporting to.
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
Unit/Facility Details: Unit consists of SICU/MICU/Trauma ICU.
Special Requests: Travel Teams must have their own vehicles.
Shift & Scheduling:
• 4 total weekend shift per 4 weeks, holidays based on unit coverage.
• Holiday Requirements Work in with core staff rotation
• 7-7, self scheduling with schedulers right to rebalance the schedule.
Floating Requirements: Floating Requirements ICU Travelers will be required to float amongst all ICU areas, as well as any MedSurg/Tele units. Also could be asked to float to St. Joseph Westgate campus.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
