Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

PALS (Required)

Additional Details:

No artificial/gel/powder nails are allowed per TCH's policy.

If you were previously perm staff at TCH, you must wait 6 months before applying for a traveler position (but this timeline may vary slightly depending on the unit.)

Required Skills/Experience:

Recent experience at a teaching facility
Peds Critical Care

Preferred Skills/Experience: Recent travel experience preferred.

Unit/Facility Details: Parking Paid parking options available on site. MetroRail transportation available if preferred.

Shift & Scheduling: Must schedule 6 weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday count as weekend shifts) per 4 week schedule for Night Shift.

Floating Requirements: Must float to NICU
