Requirements

Experience

36 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 36 months of Operating Room experience.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license

NIHSS (Required)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Cannot have any of the following background hits: Domestic disputes or domestic violence (at any time), theft (within 5 years), DUIs (within 5 years), drug charges including marijuana (at any time), felony (at any time).

Preferred Skills/Experience: Strong skills in high acuity surgical patients.

Type of Patients on Unit: Neuro- spine/cranial, navigation; Ortho-including robotics/arthroscopic; Thoracic and Vascular (complex); Transplant; ENT/Radical Neck procedures (complex).

Equipment Used on Unit: Mako Robot, DaVinci SP & XI Robots, O-Arm, Rosa Robot

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds: 31 ORs.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Hours: Saturday rotation every 6 weeks. Call Requirements: At least 40 hours per 6 weeks.
