Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Mother/Baby experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

ADN completion required

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license

Work Experience (Basic): 2 years of acute care RN experience

Education (Required): Diploma or Associate

Skills Needed • IV insertion • Blood draws • PCA pump • Wound vac

Top diagnosis/procedures: Post delivery

Common equipment used: Scales, TCI Meters, Dinamaps – Infant & Adult

Common medications given: Post-delivery medications – stool softeners, pain relievers, Prenatal vitamins, Rhogam, Pitocin
