Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license

No Block Scheduling.

36 guaranteed hours

Day/night blocks, every other weekend, every other holiday

No call required

We have 2 intermediate care units, Pulmonary Acute and Neuro Acute, as well as Pulmonary and Med/Surg Units requiring telemetry and bi-pap experience.

Ventilator experience for pulmonary acute only. Telemetry, Bipap, and step down unit experience preferred.

Min 2 years recent experience in telemetry, PCU or step down unit

Floating to other med/surg units

Nurse-to-patient ratio: 3 to 4 patient ratio intermediate; 5-6 patient ratio med/surg telemetry. Ratios based on acuity

Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
