Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: • IV therapy/phlebotomy; blood product administration; peripheral line care/management; cardiac monitoring & emergency response; interpretation & management of dysrhythmias; rapid response/code team use; • Nasal cannula; non-invasive airway management; oxygen administration; oxygen tanks, isolation precautions; wound care/wound vac • Experience in MS/Tele settings

Shift & Scheduling: • Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend • Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed

Floating Requirements: • Floating: Will be required to float within skillset
