Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.
Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a New York license

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:

Patient Diagnoses: PCU and MS Tele, Surgical pre and post; ENT, general Surgery, Trauma surgery, Ortho surgery. Overflow medical diagnosis patients. Rare Pediatric patient, Travelers not assigned unless experienced.

Types of Patients on Unit: Mixed acuity unit PCU, MS Tele and MS pts

Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics

Unit/Facility Details: Ratios adjusted by acuity.

Number of Beds: 25

Special Requests: Block Schedules: No

Shift & Scheduling: 36 or 48s

Weekend Requirement: Every other Weekend

Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request

Floating Requirements: May be floated to the corresponding sister units. West 2, West 3, and Observation unit are all sister units.
