Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience.

6 months of experience with Epic is required from last 12 months.

License

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

NIHSS (Required)

Additional Details:

Floating Requirements: Floating is required.

Required Skills/Experience: Will draw own labs- must have 2+ years or recent experience in drawing blood

Must have 2+ years of open-heart experience.

Required Credentials: Must have have graduated from an accredited nursing school.

Graduate degree through the ACEN or CCNE required.

Types of Patients on Unit: STEMI, NSTEMI, Heart Failure, Pulmonary Emboli (with right strain) and electro physiology patients.

Patient Ratios: Usually 1:1 or 1:2 but can go up to 1:3.

Special Requests: Summa does not accept block-scheduling requests.

RTO due at the time of submission. Only accepting 7 days max of RTO. Candidates submitted with more than 7 days will automatically be rejected
