ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they'll be reporting to.
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
Required Skills/Experience: Must have good EKG reading skills. Weaning/troubleshooting vents.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Must have' skills: prefer IABP and Prismaflex CRRT experience
Required Credentials: Clinician must take and pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing contract. If clinician fails to score 80% in two attempts, then they will be DNU for CS AZ and Sacramento for 6 months.
Unit/Facility Details: - # Beds: CVICU- 12 bed COVID- 8 MS ICU- 8, PCU 16 (up to 20 with double occupancy rooms) All under the same Critical Care service line, Nurse: Patient Ratios: PCU 1:3-4
Shift & Scheduling:
Floating Requirements: Traveler are first to float, May float to PCU and MST if needed per staff rotations also to EC ICU/PCU if needed.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
