Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

36 months of Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weeknight/Call Requirements: Would cover call if needed end of shift to 0700 next day. Will be expected to be on shift at 0700 if called in night prior if there are scheduled cases but would let them go home after scheduled cases. Around 14 days of call (weeknight and weekend) per month.

Weekend/Call Requirements: Yes- will cover 24 hour call if needed.

Holiday/Call Requirements : Yes- will cover 24 hour call if needed

Call response time: 30 minutes

Floating Requirements: Preop and PACU, may be asked to task in other departments if there are no surgeries.

Preop and PACU experience preferred.

Scrubbing experience would be nice to have. (not required)

Unit/Department specific orientation: 2 days of orientation in OR and some training in Preop/PACU if they have agreed to work there- will not get extensive training.

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Provided Surgical scrubs

Can be difficult to find housing- no onsite housing is available but there are plenty of RV sites. Closes place with lots of housing is Boise.
