Additional Details:
Shift & Scheduling: Rotate weekends.
Required Skills/Experience: Must have Oncology experience and PCU level of care required. Patient Experience requirements: Bedside shift report, Safety rounds, Manage team up, No Pass Zone. Advanced skills needed: Excellent assessment skills. Needed, but open for discussion during interview. Ability to read telemetry and monitor simple titration of drips, competent to administer chemotherapy.
Preferred Skills/Experience: BMT experience preferred. Ability to read telemetry and monitor simple titration of drips preferred
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Infrequent BM biopsies
Equipment Used on Unit: Bedside monitors mounted walls. Bedside computers. Lift assist devices available.
Unit/Facility Details: MC Dallas has Tuesday Start dates. Number of Beds: 40 beds total. 20 beds on each floor.
