Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license

MICU (Medical Intensive Unit Care)

Guaranteed Hours 36

MICU (Medical ICU): This unit cares for chronically ill patients requiring ventilation and complex medication management. The diagnosis may include HTN urgency or Sepsis or CVA.

This unit is the designated COVID positive unit. Also this unit may receive a Surgical or Cardiac ICU patient if no other bed is available.

Nurses must be experience in titrating pressors and managing IV drugs for critically ill patients.
