Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 12 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Preferred Skills/Experience: CVICU experience.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, Valve repair/replacement, Acute Respiratory Failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH Withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR & TVAR.

Types of Patients on Unit: Adult, Geriatric

Equipment Used on Unit: Baxter pumps.

Technology Used on Unit: Medhost

Unit/Facility Details: 16 beds.

Special Requests: No block schedule requests, 48 hour can be considered but not guaranteed

Shift & Scheduling:

Call required.
Every other weekends.
